Cabarroguis, Quirino
Way back in 1930s, this place is a jungle. A territory of the llongots and Aetas. Abundant species of wildlife plants and animals are found around the area. Hunters named this place as KABUGBUGAN because large varieties of rattan were remarkably grown anynwhere around this place.
Seven families from Umingan, Pangasinan were the first settlers to include the families of ANASTACIO BELJANO, HERMOGENES ANCHETA, VICENTE COSTALES, VALENTIN COSTALES, FRANCISCO CABRERA, SIPING CABRERA and SIMPLECIO CAIREL. The beauty and richness of natural reasources suitable for Agricultural has been disseminated that”s why more settlers came in and this place became a Bario named General Luna headed by Tenyente del Barrio SERAFINO ABRIN.
In 1966, General Luna was renamed into Barrio Burgos of the Municipality of Aglipay, Province of Nueva Vizcaya.
In 1970s, Cabarroguis was created as a Municipality and Burgos is one of its Barrio.
