Barangay Villamor of the Municipality of Cabarroguis was once a sitio Barangay Gundaway. It is situated at the North-eastern part of the Capital Town of Cabarroguis. It is bounded by barangay Zamora on the east, barangay Villa Rose at the west, barangay Gundaway at the north and barangay Burgos at the South. It has a land area of 864,5322 hectares in which 229.8817 hectares is forest land and 563.2801 hectares is parks and open.
Barangay people of Villamor mostly comes from the province of Nueva Vizcaya, Isabela, Pangasinan, Ilocos Province, Ifugao,Cagayan, Bicol, Visayan Province. Its common medium of communication are Ilocano and Tagalog.
In the early days since 1948. Ilongot and it as roamed around the place but because of the nomadic characteristics of these tribes put them from place to place and finally settled at DIBIBI an interior barangay of Cabarroguis.
In the year 50’s handful hunters headed by Mr. Jacinto Alvarez, a native of Victoria, Tarlac discovered the place. They found forest abound with all sort of wildlife. The creeks were rich of fresh water fishes.
A story told that while these hunters where on their hunt, one companion got wounded near the creek. His legs were lacerated with profuse bleeding. In order to save the life of the hunter, one companion, Estanislao Bascos dare the treatment of the wound by saturating it with rattan fiber. The treatment worked and save the life of hunter. They made the accident more memorable by naming the place “Dinait” which means sewed, since then the place was named Dinait.
In 1956, population grew to 100. In order to maintain peace & order for better unity, they considered necessary to select a leader Mr. Alberto Sombreto as adviser Mr. Alvarez becomes the Barrio Lieutenant. Local rules where formulated such as penalty for settlers of liquors, gambling and steeling. These rules where strictly followed that made people law abiding, obedient, cooperative and self-reliant.
The health situation of the people was safeguard with the presence of the two hobblers, Mr. Estanislao Bascos and Mr. Maximo Gromeo who treated some kind of ailment including child deliveries.
Dinait also welcomed several religious sects. They embraced Roman Catholic, Iglesia ni Cristo 1914, Iglesia ni Kristo 33AD, Espiritistas and Aglipayans. Life Dinait should have been a paradise had it not been for one problem of transportation. They only mean transportation then was use of carabao’s and cow pulling cart and sledge with tangkal to transport their commodities.
Children have difficulties in hiking going to school as far as 4 kilometers in mountain and slippery trails. People who transact business in Diffun town used to hike 10 kilometers to reach place & back.
In December 1957, the people passed a resolution recommending Dinait to become a barrio. They began giving the Barrio a name. It was at that time, a famous Filipino Pilot by name the name Villamor, once the President and Chairman of the Bureau of Aeronautics was worried known for his GALANTRY & BRAVERY. The people & official agreed to take Villamor appropriate name. Sitio Dinait was renamed Villamor. The approval of Villamor as one barangay was illusive due to lack of population. Mr. Sombreto made another try with Governor Espino and together they went to Manila and there finally was approved by the President. His excellency Diosdado Macapagal. The barangay was registered under the Municipality of Diffun in 1957 but controversy of jurisdiction arises. Later, it was registered in the Municipality of Aglipay in 1958.
The conversion of Sitio Dinait into Barangay Villamor started to turn into progress. Feeder roads were constructed in 1963. The Barrio welcomed improvements of roads with job opportunities for the jobless. Population increase, charcoal industry evolved, furniture shops, buying station, irrigation facilities, upland farms were awarded with stewardship contacts for income of the Barangay. The opening school through the recommendation of the District Supervisor, Juan Cabamban in 1961, now Villamor Elementary School was also paved.
For its political background, Mr. Jacinto Alvarez was the first Barrio Lieutenant, appointed by Mayor Silverio Pascua in 1950. He serves the barrio, 14 years as barrio Lieutenant. In 1964 and election was held where in Mr. Dagdag, a native of Cordon, Isabela won but resigned after six months, Mr. Alberto Sombreto was appointed to carry out the works. He also serve the barrio for 4 years. He resigned in 1968 and Mr. Herminigildo Soriben was appointed as Barrio Lieutenant from 1968-1972. Another election was held where in Barangay Captain Manolo Cristobal won and serve the Barangay from 1980-1988. 1988 election was held wherein all Barangay candidates filed their candidacy as barangay Kagawad and the number 1 Kagawad shall be the chairman of the Barangay where Mr. Manolo Allam garnered number 1 Kagawad. He serves the barangay from 1980-2002. Mr. Winnie Soriben did not file his candidacy and to take place is Mr. Jimmy B. Laña won over his three opponents on the 2007 election and again on the 2010 election prompting him to serve the barangay from 2007 to June 30, 2018. Hon. Zosimo C. Laungayan was elected as Punong Barangay over his three (3) opponents on the 2018 election and serve the barangay for five (5) years.
In the end, during the October, 2023 election, Hon. Greggy John S. Dela Peña won as the new Punong Barangay of Barangay Villamor, Cabarroguis, Quirino over his three (3) opponents

Villamor has a total Internal Revenue Allotment of ₱3,954,203.00 and available source of ₱111,000.00 including other external sources, RPT share, fees and charges, and subsidy from the LGU, with the total income of ₱4,065,203.00 of the barangay for the year 2022.
Seven Purok comprises Barangay Villamor. Out of the seven Purok, Purok 1, 4, 5, 6 & 7 possesses wide tract of agricultural land, few of it is rolling And Mountainous and the remaining Purok are almost rolling terrains.

Villamor is one of the Barangay of Cabarroguis that fall within the classified forestland; the Barangay is four (04) kilometre away from the Municipal hall of Cabarroguis, the Capital town of the province.
Barangay Villamor is located at the South-western part of the Municipality of Cabarroguis. It is bounded in the south of Barangay Burgos, on the north by Zamora, on the west by Barangay Villarose and on the east by barangay Sto. Domingo.
The barangay low land areas, which are non-established rice land. Some areas are idle and grassland, the forest areas in the western part is planted with corn, legumes and vegetable.
The barangay has a total land area of 865 hectares, with a total population of 3.013. 1,492 female and 1,521 male. There are 853 households and 721 families. 1,557 number of registered voters.
Villamor is lucky to have its own health facilities like Barangay Health Station (BHS) with important health facilities.
Barangay Villamor has complete elementary school. It has 2 Child Development Centers located at the barangay compound and at sitio diagay Purok 7 and with Kindergarten in Villamor Elementary School (VES).
Barangay Fiesta/Timpuyog is conducted yearly every 28th to 30th day of April.
