The office of the Municipal Civil Registrar (MCR) is established under the Local Government Code of 1991 amd the Civil Registry Law (Act No. 3753). We are the frontline department responsible for the legal recording of the most significant milestonbes in a person's life.
Our mandate is to develop and and maintain a reliable, permanent, and degitized system of civil registration that protects the legal status of every constituent and provides the state with accuratee vital statistics.

➤ Registration of Vital Events: We process and record the birth, marriage, and death of every individual accuring within our Municipality.
➤ Issuance of Legal Documents: We provide certified true copies of birth, marriage, and death certificate for legal, travel, and identification purpose.
➤ Marriage Licensing: We review applications, conduct the required postings, and issue licences to couplesintending to marry.
➤ Administrative Corrections: Under existing laws, we process petitions for the correction of clerical or typographical errors in civil registry documents without the need for a court order.
➤ Archiving and Security: We ensure the lifetime preservation of documents through physical ledger and secure digital archiving.
➤ Data Integration: We coordinate directly with Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) to ensure local records are reflected in thhe national database.
